Our 8th grade and Leader in Me students had an unforgettable learning experience during their recent field trip to the North Carolina Zoo! 🐘🌿
Students explored animals from both North America and Africa while observing the diverse ecosystems each species calls home. From watching elephants roam to spotting native wildlife, students were actively engaged in making real-world connections to what they’ve been learning in the classroom.
This incredible opportunity was made possible thanks to the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources Learning Happens Here Field Trip Fund, helping bring learning to life beyond the classroom!
